About My Objective
It was mid-March, 2020, and we were all told that a new virus had entered our lives: Covid-19.
It didn’t take long, when all kinds of new rules and regulations were imposed upon us all. One of the first rules that impacted my life was that all indoor locations where people congregated had to be closed.
So, my daily gym exercises were no longer, available, and I had to find an alternative in order to continue my routine.
On March 20, 2020,. I started my daily journey inside the Hudson River Park. beginning each day at 6:30 am to around 9 am, and I brought my camera with me as my new best friend.
The park starts from the World Trade Center on the Hudson River, and extends up to 59th Street, at the beginning of Riverside Park.
And so, I extend my invitation to you, to walk by my side and to experience this marvelous strip of land that became an alternative lifestyle for many New Yorkers and its visitors. To experience how this park contained an enormous variety of life: happy puppies, exercise for groups and singles, vagrants finding new places to stay, newborn ducks and geese, watching new parents tending their infants, all the flowers and plants for every season, construction sites (like Little Island), lovely people, rude people, and many, many other people types.
If you do join me, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Share with me
my wide variety of life's experiences, and the amazing sustainability of the spirits in all forms and varieties of life. Bless New Yorkers and New York visitors—you have made an intolerable event tolerable!
